Comprehensive Benefits Package


Primarily responsible for supporting for the bank's overall advertising, branding and campaign initiatives, this position will work with the Marketing Officer to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives. Position will also assist with the day-to-day activities of the department, demonstrate a commitment to community involvement, coordinate assignments with internal and external business partners, organize tasks with other personnel within the department, provide periodic reports and respond to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner.


  1. Campaign Development
    • Assist with the development and execution of bankwide campaign activities to include the following:
      • Coordinate with internal business units and outside agency partners.
      • Provide input on creative, including design concepts and final execution for print, outdoor, broadcast, point-of-sale, digital, etc.
      • Update the department on campaign activities.
  1. Media Planning and Production
    • Maintain the bank's primary media schedule.
    • Assist with the production of advertising and promotional material to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate advertising commitments with business and lifestyle publications throughout the bank's footprint.
  1. Digital and Social Marketing
    • Assist with the development and implementation of the bank's online and social marketing efforts.
    • Work with outside agency partner to maintain the bank's social media content calendar.
    • Coordinate support and secure assets for social media marketing activities.
    • Maintain and update the bank's website content.
  1. Community Event and Sponsorship Support
    • Provide support for the bank's community events and sponsorships in assigned markets as designated by the Marketing Officer.
    • Serve as central point of contact for all aspects of planning, volunteer recruitment and on-site logistics during community events.
    • Coordinate sponsorship program activation (promotional activities, advertising, employee involvement, etc.) with external partner and the appropriate community office or department.


  1. Performs additional marketing duties which include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Develop and maintain marketing collateral materials to support new product and branding initiatives.
    • Assist with the development of sales support materials including talking points, presentations and proposals.
    • Work with customers to develop case studies and testimonials to support various marketing initiatives.
    • Create bankwide communications to announce specific marketing activities, product updates and community events.
  1. Achieves assigned goals as part of the Marketing Department's annual operating plan and the day-to-day activities of the department:
    • Works with the other members of the Marketing Department to develop and implement various marketing programs.
    • Assists with project coordination on a multitude of projects, many of which have concurrent deadlines.
    • Ensures all compliance and regulatory standards are met.
  1. Performs tasks relating to internal bank events and sponsorship activities.
  2. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  3. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, as requested, or; compiles information as necessary or directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
  4. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area or to requests from customers or other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and established policy.


  1. Is strongly encouraged to participate in various community events in order to increase the bank's visibility and strengthen relationships with the communities we serve.
  2. Keeps up-to-date with bank communication regarding policy changes, new products and initiatives, personnel changes, etc.
  3. Identifies own strengths and developmental areas and sets goals as aligned with supervisor's expectations. Initiates coaching sessions with supervisor to share progress and receive feedback towards goals.
  4. Follows corporate policy and upholds bank standards in accordance with the bank's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
  5. Performs duties in a manner that ensures bank compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
  6. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.


A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study required; specialized bank marketing education and training or equivalent bank experience.


A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions is required. Previous experience with branding, campaign management, social and digital marketing and agency relations also required.


Must possess strong oral and written communicative skills (including excellent telephone etiquette and grammar); must demonstrate a working knowledge of current and proposed bank regulations affecting the marketing function; moderate math skills with an acceptable degree of accuracy. Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with customers and other employees.  Must also possess good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.  Must demonstrate proficiency in operating office equipment including personal computer, copier, scanner, calculator and fax machine.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and Windows Operating System required. A valid driver's license is also required.
